We’re ecstatic to reveal that KIIROO has been nominated for not one – not two – but four awards across two of the adult industry’s most prestigious events. The XBIZ Awards and the AVN Awards are due to take place in January 2022 and we’re thrilled to be nominated, among stiff competition, for numerous awards.
Here, we take a look at the categories we’ve landed in and explain why the nominations mean so much to us.
Showcasing exceptional talent
For those unfamiliar, XBIZ is a world leader in adult industry news – your go-to for videos, updates and coverage from the community. A renowned publisher, it hosts regular trade events, including the adult industry’s biggest night: the XBIZ Awards.
The ceremony recognizes and honors outstanding achievements within the business, from movie production to pleasure products, tech and retail. Hosted by adult entertainment’s biggest stars – this year premier creators’ community ManyVids – the awards garner media attention from some of the US’ biggest outlets, including the LA Times and Huffington Post.
This year, there are 100 categories and 1,248 nominees competing for the prestigious titles. KIIROO has been shortlisted in: International Pleasure Products Company of the Year, Progressive Pleasure Products Company of the Year and Sex Toy of the Year – Powered (non-vibrating) for FeelNicolette & KEON automatic stroker.
Fingers crossed for a hat trick of wins on the night. The awards will take place on January 9th at the glamorous Hollywood Palladium.
Best in sex
The AVN (Adult Video News) Awards, often known as the ‘Oscars of porn’, honors achievements in adult filmmaking and movie production. Since its inception in 1984, the AVN Awards has recognized the best actors, actresses and directors in the industry.
On January 22nd, the ceremony (recently announced to be digital and not held in Las Vegas as it usually is) will be presented by MyFreeCams and will honor winners across 100 categories. KIIROO is thrilled to be nominated for Best Web Retail Store. We’ll be hoping to take the crown from reigning champion AdultEmpire.com.
