There are but a few Gay VR Porn Sites out there
Virtual Reality porn (or VR porn, for short) is becoming the next big thing in porn, but more so for straight porn.
Gay porn, however, is a different story.
In fact, at one point, Kiiroo asked me to do a piece on gay VR porn sites, and I had to do the unthinkable for myself —remove myself from a project. But not because I had no interest. It was actually because the content wasn’t there to report on.
Case in point, thus far, Kiiroo has only found 6 gay VR sites, while I myself have stumbled upon a good deal more in straight porn sites. But why is this the case?
The problem I’ve noticed with most gay VR sites (or gay content of all orientation VR sites) that I’ve come across is that they cater to tops and not bottoms. If you add an interactive toy to the mix, the vibrations also prove this to be true. For the vibrations and motions in the toy are in synch with the actions more so meant to please the top of the scene and not the bottom.
I discovered this because I do have a Kiiroo Pearl as well as an Onyx. While I’m versatile, my fantasies while watching porn usually have me as a bottom. So since it being void of a base proves the Pearl to not be an anal toy, I have to make it into one by putting an anal enhancer on it.
Keep in mind that I also watch straight porn, and what I have discovered while watching straight porn on VR sites is that unless I use the Pearl with a site like FeelPorna, I will feel vibrations from the Pearl even when the guy is receiving a blowjob. It’s not just the public demands and a company supplies. It’s also supply product even when you suspect there to be a demand. So I believe that in the case of interactive sex toys for bottoms, the lack of supply has led to no demand for gay VR porn.
I feel the reason for this lack of demand is due to the gay porn industry catering to the wrong audience when it comes to gay males.
They are still sticking to pleasing the penetrating male like straight porn producers do. Missing what I’ve come to see. Which is that based on the porn viewers I’ve spoken to (and in some cases played with), while they seldom know the actor’s names nowadays, most viewers focus on the top, living vicariously through the bottom in the scene.
Plus, if you look at the most hyped names in gay porn that some viewers do remember, you will find most of those performers get their notoriety by being tops. Therefore, companies making VR gay porn with a faceless dick being ridden does nothing for the visual stimulation males naturally crave to see a great body and face. So when making VR porn, companies need to focus more on pleasing those bottoms.
When the right toys aren’t created, porn viewers can improvise for their virtual reality experience. For there are a number of apps that you can play a regular 2D video through, but make viewable through VR goggles. That’s what I do. I have downloaded a number of regular 2D videos, put them on a micro-SD card, put the micro-SD card in my cell phone, then put the phone in my VR goggles, then finally enjoy the video as a voyeur.
Because without the proper toys for my aforementioned bottoming fantasies, my fantasizing with VR technology limits me to continue only as a voyeur, instead of advancing with the technology bringing vibrations and motions from porn scenes into one’s porn-viewing experience.
