Shaken, not Stirred!

Aaah, orgasms. The holy grail of pleasure for many individuals, the point of climax is often the ultimate release of an intimate sex session.

Although this may not always be the case, it’s clear that we tend to place quite a lot of importance of orgasms. This is understandable too — as orgasms provide some incredibly intense sensations and a release of all kinds of chemicals in the body that leave you in a feel-good mood.

Over the years orgasms seem to have been the focus of many sex-centric discussions, and as the open discussion of orgasms has grown so, too, has the variety of orgasms that one can supposedly achieve.

Clitoral, G-Spot, cervical. There was even one woman who could supposedly achieve orgasm from brushing her teeth, whereas some women can apparently even think themselves to orgasm.

But as the lexicon around the female orgasm seems to grow, the male orgasm seems to have been woefully neglected. Sure, multiple orgasms get discussed from time-to-time but beyond that, one would be forgiven for assuming that men had only one default orgasm type — penile accompanies with ejaculation. Thankfully this is not the case.

Exploring the Male Orgasm

As with the expanding language around the female orgasm, it could be argued that the limited language around the male orgasm is mostly to do with expectations and a lack of diversity in terms of definition.

The most iconic part of the male orgasm is the point of climax, after all, so it has become the typical focal point for discussion of the male orgasm. It’s also seen as the most important element in many ways — serving the biological purpose of continuing the human race (a noble cause indeed).

But if we extend the language around the male orgasm then what do we get? The results may just surprise you.

Penile Orgasm

As said before, the most common (and expected) orgasm for men is a penile orgasm (also known as ejaculation).

Penile orgasms are something that most men become adept at early on in life and is the typical go-to for sexual satisfaction.

Such orgasms typically involve the stimulation of the shaft and glans of the penis, primarily through stroking or thrusting motions (either done solo or as part of group activity).

Even if other orgasms are on the table, ejaculation is typically involved too.

Multiple Penile Orgasms

Fun fact: Ejaculation and orgasm in men are actually two different actions. One (ejaculation) is a biological response that tends to occur after orgasm (though can sometimes occur without it) whereas the other (orgasm) is an action felt heavily in the brain with various other physical and psychological benefits.

Because of this, it is entirely possible for men to train themselves to have multiple orgasms by detaching the physical act of ejaculation with a much more complex action or orgasm.

Of course, this takes a lot of practice but the results are typically worth it.

Prostate Orgasm

Women may have the G-Spot but men have the P-Spot and this area can be just as potent when it comes to orgasms.

The P-Spot, otherwise known as the prostate, is a gland which makes up part of the male reproductive system. Typically it goes about its daily business without much fuss, but stimulate it via message (either internally or externally) and it can produce an orgasm that some consider being even better than penile orgasms.

Anal Orgasm

Distinct from prostate orgasms, anal orgasms can occur in men as a result of anal rimming and other forms of stimulating the anal opening and rectal canal.

Sometimes other stimulation will be needed in order to make anal orgasms truly effective but this is not always the case, especially if the recipient has been practicing with multiple orgasms.

Testicular Orgasm

Balls may be a sensitive topic for some men, but this sensitivity doesn’t always have to be unpleasant. In fact, by exploring different techniques for massage, pressure, and “controlled pain” some men might just find themselves bursting with enthusiasm for some ball-play.

Testicular orgasms are particularly common for those who engage in BallBusting, which has many other benefits too.

Urethral Orgasm

This type of orgasm is achieved primarily via urethral sounding—the use of sterilized metal rods inserted carefully into the urethra in order to achieve unique sensations.

While urethral sounding can result in some incredible orgasms it’s important to do your research into the right equipment and methods needed and to play it extra safe. No one wants to have a mishap with their manhood.

Aaaand, finally, perhaps the most under-mentioned orgasm of all…

How to Achieve a Blended Orgasm as a Man

Blended orgasms have been conventionally considered as a female-only affair.
But let’s consider the definition of a blended orgasm for a moment, shall we?

Typically a blended orgasm is considered to be an orgasm in which more than one erogenous zone is stimulated at a time—resulting in multiple points of pleasure at the point of climax.

Sound familiar?

If you’re a man and you’ve experimented with butt plugs then chances are you’ve already experienced a blended orgasm without even thinking about it! Same goes for anyone who has had their balls tugged and squeezed while their shaft was being worked, or had a rim job while working their shaft.

The only difference here is the language, the action—hitting more than one spot at once—is something that anyone can theoretically achieve.

So next time you’re lamenting about your limited orgasm options just remember that erogenous zones are everywhere on the body and it’s very do-able to hit more than one at once. Practice doing so and you may soon find that your options for orgasm experience and explosive expansion.

EXPLORING THE FEMALE ORGASM

When you think about blended things, orgasms probably don’t come to mind (unless you really enjoy Frappuccinos, like, a lot). The phrase “blended orgasm” isn’t very descriptive, so allow me to break it down for you.

A blended orgasm combines two of the most common types of orgasms for people with vulvas and vaginas: Clitoral and G-spot. The G-spot is controversial because some people insist that it doesn’t exist. Personally, I believe that at least most people with vaginas have G-spots, so the rest of this blog is going to rest on that belief.

As you might have guessed, you’ll have to stimulate both the G-spot and the clitoris simultaneously to achieve a blended orgasm. Something you might not know about the clitoris is that it’s actually not just a little nub. In fact, it’s shaped like a wishbone, and the two arms extend back around the vaginal opening. So the clitoris can be stimulated internally, although it’s not as easy as stimulating it externally. It’s possible to have a blended orgasm through internal stimulation alone, but it really depends on your anatomy.

Using the right tools for the job is one way to make your blended orgasm possible. Personally, I like G-spot dildos or vibrators, and a separate clitoral vibrator. It allows you to have a lot of control over your stimulation, something that rabbit-style vibrators don’t provide.

Most G-spots respond really well to pressure, vibration, or a combination of the two. That’s why G-spot vibrators are curved. They can have a gentle curve, like Pearl2, or a more pronounced curve, like the Jopen Key Comet Wand II. G-spot dildos are also popular because not everyone needs internal vibration to get off. Look for something with a curved or bulbous tip made out of silicone, glass, or steel.

Some people find just inserting and clenching around a G-spot dildo or vibrator is enough to stimulate them, whereas others prefer thrusts or a gentle rocking motion. Experiment and see what works for you and your body. Sometimes it’s easier if you have a partner handy to help you, but don’t worry – this isn’t necessarily a two person job!

Frankly, the G-spot is the trickier part of the blended orgasm equation. Once you find something that works well for your G-spot, it should be easy to combine that with clitoral stimulation.

You can use another sex toy, your hands, or a partner’s help. I’ve found that one of the easiest adult toys to use in combination with G-spot dildos or vibrators is the Eroscillator. While it may not be much to look at, its long handle and narrow attachments make it really easy to use in tandem with other toys.

When you’re stimulating your G-spot, there’s a chance you might experience ejaculation (some people call it squirting). It’s not a given, but it is possible. In order to make yourself feel a little more comfortable, empty your bladder before you begin working on your orgasm. When you get close to an orgasm with G-spot stimulation, you can often feel like you really need to pee. If you’ve already done it, you can relax, knowing that it’s just the orgasm. You might notice that a blended orgasm lasts longer, feels more intense, or causes your vaginal muscles to contract. That’s all part of the experience.

What if it didn’t work? If you had a good time, it wasn’t a wasted effort. Hopefully, you learned something about your body. Sometimes these things take practice. Don’t be discouraged if you have a hard time stimulating your G-spot at first… Just enjoy the ride.
