Kiiroo’s CTO, Maurice Op de Beek was recently interviewed on VR Pimps Podcast, episode 7.
As Maurice and VR Pimp bumped into each other in January 2017 at the AVN Expo where Kiiroo and Fleshlight pre-launched the Launch, they had a lot of things to cover regarding what has happened since.
The Fleshlight Launch Powered by Kiiroo was officially launched at SXSW in Austin, Texas in March 2017. VRPimp was curious to know all the details and reactions received after the official launch as well as the launch of FeelMe.com.
FeelMe.com was soft launched with the Fleshlight Launch in beta. The reason for its creation is to have 1 site where you can find some of the worlds best content and webcammers all in one place so you don’t need to go anywhere else to search for interactive content.
The podcast moves on to cover the Launch in more detail. Such as the fact that the Launch sold out in under 2 weeks the first time it was sold. When Kiiroo and Fleshlight restocked, the same thing happened with batch number 2.
Other topics touched upon were new devices, VR Live Streaming, and how the team here at Kiiroo are retroactively working to make existing bluetooth-enabled devices compatible with our own devices. Maurice touched upon new devices that are coming out in 2017 as well as a new way of video encoding to streamline and automate the process.
